Writing Style
• Do not write in first person. For example, do not write “We will now look at….”
• Do not editorialize by writing “obviously” or “clearly”. Your reader may not find it obvious or clear.
Formatting
• Entire document should be in the same font, either Calibri or Times Roman, 12.
• Margins should be 1” on all sides.
Proofreading
• Grammar: Papers should not have Word (green underlined) warning of a grammatical error. Use that function to correct problems or reword the sentence.
• Spelling: Use spell check before submitting.
Content
• Add a Keywords section immediately following your abstract.
References:
• Must be alphabetized
• Must only include the works cited in the paper
• Should be recent (no more than 8 years old) unless referencing historical information
• If you choose to use the hanging style, use Word’s paragraph feature to create. Do not try to space or tab the line indention.
• Do not use Wikipedia as a source.
Task 1: Every student is expected to turn in a twenty page research paper. The suggested list of topics is provided below. All students are required to pick one of these topics.
The paper must be typed using the same font, either Calibri or Times Roman. The entire paper must be double spaced except the abstract and references with 1 inch margins on all sides.
Your paper must have at least 20 peer-reviewed journal articles. One good place is JSTOR data base. Other sources include Business Premier, Lexus Nexus and other academic sources. See videos below.

It is recommended you do an outline of your paper so you have some idea on the direction that you plan to take in the paper.

Task 5: You will then fix those similarities and any other issues. You may resubmit your paper into turnitin.com as many times as you want. But be sure you submit it as a resubmission and not as a new submission.

Task 6: You must submit your final draft to me for my review and comments by the due date. Please note that this draft is worth 50 points. I will read and provide my comments and suggestions.

Task 7: You must incorporate my suggestions before resubmitting your revised paper into turnitin.com. Fix any new similarities identified by turnitin.com.
Task 8: You must submit your final paper (in word document) by the due date.

Note: You may submit you paper into turnitin.com as many times as you want to. Just remember to submit it as a resubmission each time.
