ONE:

When it comes to the main competencies that I developed, they would include time management, process of elimination, and information that stuck out to me. With working full time, getting home late from work, and having responsibilities that every adult has, it was definitely hard finding time for school work. With getting home at weird hours late at night I am constantly tired, especially when I have to wake up early. However, I found a schedule that allows me to get my work done while being as rested as I can. When it comes to my paper, I tend to read the questions and find the answers that best stick out to me and answers that help me better understand the topic. That is when my process of elimination comes in. Yes, the information is important however, I do not need every detail about the answer. I just need the part that gets my point across and that helps support my reasoning behind it.

The intellipaths helped me question what I actually knew and what I needed to work on. After completing the intellipaths, I was able to go back to the sections I did not do well in, take notes, and work on bettering my knowledge on the topic. This helped me because during discussion boards or my project I was able to target what section I needed to look at and it helped test me on what I learned and what I actually remembered.

Everything I have learned and everything I have gained for this course will benefit me for future classes as well as when the time comes that I step into the business world. Being able to take away tips and tricks from other classes will allow me to be successful in future courses by applying what I learned to those classes. I will also be able to better understand the business world by gaining as much knowledge now so I know what to expect.

TWO:

This course has been very interesting. I  have learned a lot of new competencies, but the most important to me personally is foreign exchange. The thought of banking abroad can possibly strengthen your organization and make it easier for you to make a global move to reach other parts of the world with your product/service, it also allows you to ship direct and boost the employment rate for the host country which is kind of like giving back to the community in which you do business while cutting cost on labor. If done right all in all, its a win. Shareholder wealth is boosting thebincome of those who have invested in a publically traded business, while stakeholder wealth is for those who have a vested interest in a particular project or organization but dont own shares, you see this more in private organization but can also be in publically traded organization.

THREE:

Throughout this course I have learned so much about the way organizations may operate when conducting international business. Understanding international trade and the reasons behind certain decisions businesses make when operating internally will definitely help me with the project. I have learned so much about the European union and the difference between their market and ours. I now know certain things about operating and doing business in the European Union that will help me make my decision on whether or not I would operate there.

Now because I have done comparisons to other companies who have move into operating in the European Union I know exactly what you consider when I do the paperwork for my project. There was a lot of information in all of the intellipaths and through my research for the previous discussion boards that have prepared me to complete my project.

FOUR:

What competencies were you able to develop in researching and writing the course Comprehensive Project? How did you leverage knowledge gained in the intellipath assignments (Units 1- 4) in completing the Comprehensive Project? How will these competencies and knowledge support your career advancement in management?

The competencies as a student I have gain are many. As a result, I am now able to follow the six components related to creating my comprehensive project report. The steps are abstract, introduction, methodology, results, discussion and references. By applying these steps which are related to my report I will be presenting a perfectly illustrated report. The intellipath is a perfected resource path to drawing conclusion for my report and a great opportunity to improve my grade while going back to reference materials. The information provided has helped me build a path to understanding my career and the knowledge to applying the information when needed as a professional business consultant. 

Discuss the similarities and differences between shareholder wealth maximization and stakeholder wealth maximization.

The main objective for shareholders and stakeholder’s wealth is to maximization of short term and long-term goals. 

· Shareholders can buy and sale their stock

· While stakeholders are bound to the company for log term reason of greater needs

· Shareholder are always stakeholders

· While stakeholders are not always shareholders

FIVE:

During this course, I developed several competencies that assisted me with the build of my final Unit 5 Comprehensive Project. These competencies included the ability to define and identify the approach for starting my paper and gathering data. Most notably was the competency to research scholarly material and evaluate the concepts. I also learned out to use textual evidence to support my position and claims, as well as to draw conclusions.

In building my project, the Intellipath assignments provided essential information. Each unit of discussion gave good insight into the topic of discussion. I was able to draw from the objectives of each lesson and key concepts to aid in fulfilling the assignment details.

All of these things now proven to be essential skills and competencies I have gain and can utilize in my career. As a change management consultant, I am often conducting research and using statistical data to help encourage my target audiences and persuade them in support change. These research techniques will help to improve the business cases and briefings that I must prepare.
