Generally agree with this assessment as it does point out my strengths and weakness in emotional intelligence competencies.

• Highest score in empathy competence in Social Awareness (24 out of 25)
  • I love listen to people and show my empathy
  • I love helping people to solve their problem. Business and personal
• Lowest score in inspirational leadership competence in Relationship management (14 out of 25)
  • I know I have the ability to be a great leader, but I am a lazy person. I think being a leader has too many responsibilities, which make me too tired.  Very Contradictive, I love power, but do not like being a leader. I did perform well as a leader when I was under pressure.
  • Love working alone, afraid of delegating work to others because I afraid others will mess up
  • Do not like to express my emotional reaction to others when they did a good job. (Because I am an Asian, the culture is more reserve and my personally thinks emotional reaction is over reacting)
• Self-management score did not meet my expectation
  • 50/50 in Emotional Self-Control competence. I did control my self well at work, but not at home or with family. My family often describes me as bad temper, but my colleagues thinks I am extremely patient and nice with my subordinates and hotel guests.
  • Was excepting higher score in Achievement Orientation section, as I am a very goal –orientated person. I live to achieve goal, no goal no life.

• This assessment has helped me identified my leadership weakness.

• Stop blaming others inside my mind (even I do not act to blame them) when things go wrong
• Be fair to team, no personal bias over team members
• Find out what caused the occurrence of the problem
• Being positive as a leaderkj so the team will be positive under my influence
• Prepare for the worse case scenario in every case
• Learn to make good judgment and decision in difficult situation, follow and learn from other who is good at making the good judgment, sharing with teams and let the teams inspire me.
