Advanced Research Methodologies expose learners to various experiences. Based on this, I was able to complete a micro-project. In the course of conducting my research project, I gained experience on how to use a mixed method in the research analysis. This paper involves a reflective essay that afforded/improved my opportunity to engage in the general research perspectives. The research intended to determine the supports of young people. The two extremes of research exemplifications were used. They include quantitative and qualitative approaches. The paper analyses/clarify the specific research methodologies. Qualitative research refers to an investigative technique that can be naturalistic, ethnographic, anthropological observer research1. During my research, I used qualitative analysis method in the unstructured section of research. The sections involved interviews, data collection from professionals and working data for groups.
