Compose your satire
Pay close attention to the genre features identified in process #1, as you create your satire.
If you violate the constraints of the genre, do so strategically.
Assure that your satire makes an argument. This may be about the genre itself or about a different person or topic.
Write your component reflective essay.
Introduce the genre and provide a rhetorical analysis of an effective example of it (genre analysis), using PA-4 and the questions in process #1.

How did you compose the argument though the satire?
Where do you maintain the rules of the genre? Where do you violate them?
Where do you use rhetorical strategies?
Use Dirk’s “Navigating Genre” and other relevant texts from the course to explain and support the ways you’ve used this genre to create your satire.
If you are using the genre to critique something/someone else, introduce the topic and provide reasons for your critique.
