Instructions:Each student is required tofind and read a business press article that pertains to the chapter you have been assigned. Provide a two-page, typed discussion that breaks down as follows:

(1) 1/2 page summarizing the central theme of the article.

(2) 1 ½ pages discussing why that articles are interesting to you and how they tie in with the material. You are required to cite a page number and section title for material you refer to in the text.  In this part of the report you should include your insights, critique and demonstrate your ability to link real world situations to concepts and ideas you have learned from our text and in class. Include any trends you see materializing in the future for this area of marketing and support your claims.

You are expected to search through trade and business press articles. Examples of business publications that may be good sources for such articles are Fortune, Wall Street Journal, Business Week, etc. Please search for meaningful articles as opposed to short one-column clips in newspapers.

Submit a photocopy (or a printout of the web page) of the complete article.  Staple your articles together with three (3) copies of your report. The report should be typed, double-spaced, 1-inch margins and 12-point font.
