Each student will be required to research and write a ten to fifteen page paper concerning a regulation or law and its impact on business operations. Students will have a ten minute class presentation on their topic. For example, after the 2008 financial collapse, the government imposed regulations on businesses that required more transparency about various things, including executive compensation. A student writing about this topic would need to consider: What was the existing rule? How did it change? Why did it change? Who were the proponents of change?
