There are a number of issues and topics to study here, many of which tie directly into the ideas and people, and some which are significant in today’s world (like GMOs, industrialized agriculture, the use of pesticides, drought and famine, and the strain on resources such as water). Don’t forget to consider the Second Green Revolution and its proponents, opponents, and approaches.
