InterClean–Enviro Tech Merger Memo
There is about to be a radical, corporate, grand, strategic change in Interclean due to restructuring as a result of a merger. A merger basically means that one company usually the larger one absorbs the smaller one resulting in absorption of the smaller business. Under the new plan Interclean will assign working teams to support environmentally friendly high quality services with a focus on developing a new solutions and services model (UOP, 2015). The customized package was designed analyzing current trends in the external industrial and operating environment to give the company a competitive edge and had anticipated the customers’ needs (UOP, 2015). Interclean chose to merge with Envirotech, who is aligned to the new strategy. Envirotech has expert human capital resources. Interclean saw the opportunity to acquire Envirotechs’ internal strengths and achieve an expansion strategy (UOP, 2015). So the hrm planning strategy requires Interclean to analyse the strategy, and new vision, as well as alternative options to ensure alignment of precise strategic planning, to current strategies are still compatible with the company goals and do not need redesigned. Rightsizing decisions will get made as a result of this merger. Interclean must take steps to ascertain that every action is ethical and legal. Suggested Options Frequently, two businesses join to benefit each one. There is a challenge to confronting the types of choices and the radical changes that come from organizational restructure.
