Flat Bottom Log- 2

Assemble the First Story

1. Place 2 flat bottom logs on a flat surface. Space the logs approximately 6 inches apart in a length-wise
2. Place a single slot log into each open slot of the flat bottomed base. Using a crisscross     technique, build a stack of 7 single logs on each slot of the base.
3. Place a triple slot log on top of each side of the base. Each slot will sit on top of each stack of 7 single stacked logs.
4. Place a triple slot log, width-wise, into the first slot of the left and right wall. In the same manner, place a triple slot log across the middle into the middle slot. Finally, place a triple slot log into the back slot of the rear of the cabin.

Assemble the 2^nd Level Porch

1. Place a double slot log, length-wise, into the front- left and front -middle slots of the left wall.
2. Place a single slot log into the right front corner.
3. Place a triple slot log, width-wise, across the front of the porch.
4. Place a single log into each slot of the 3 slot log to form the porch railing.
5. Place 2 green roofing logs, width-wise, on top of the left side of the porch roof.

Assemble the 2^nd Story

1. Build stacks of single slot logs, in a crisscross technique, and place on top of the first story logs. Place the single logs as described:

Left- Rear- 4 single slot logs               Center- Rear-5 single slot logs              Right- Rear-4 single slot logs

Left-Center-3 single slot logs  Center- Center-4 single slot logs           Right Center-4 single slot logs

2. Place a double slot log on top of the stacked single logs on the right side. In the same manner, place a double slot log on the left side.
3. Place a triple slot log, width-wise, across the back of the house. In the same manner, place a triple slot log across the center of the cabin.
4. Place a double slot log, length-wise, on top of the triple slot logs. Place one on the left, center, and right slots of the log.

Roof Assembly

1. Place the roof joist with the Lincoln Log logo across the top- middle section of the second story. Follow with the second red roof joist across the back of the cabin.
2. Place the green lipped roofing log into the notch of the roof joist on the left side.  Place the second lipped roofing log on the right side.
3. Stack the remaining roofing logs on top of the roof until they meet at the peak of the roof.
