I’m applying to Masters program for Physician Assistant. I need for it to include how i got interested in the field of medicine by my grandfather being hospitalized by suffering from cardiac arrest and how all doctors and physician assistants came and treated him and their role in their patient’s lives which occurred during my freshman year of college. During junior year i started working for Montefiore and a physical therapy office help dealing with patients guide them through their exercises. This gave me opportunity to see how physician assistants have such an important role as they fill the gap between the patients and doctors and how they treat their patients with such care. these jobs taught me how to care and treat patients regardless of any age and how to approach, treat, and comfort them as they cope with their situation and seeing the physician assistants be that was perfect insight of what i want to be. I ultimately want to work as an orthopedic PA because of my background. My hobbies is playing sports such as basketball and baseball and spending time with friends and family. My resume is attached to show some of my background. i was able to see understand how important the role the pa played in coordinating care and providing care while working in the hospital and improving communication with the families of patients
