The final project asks you to explore in more depth one of the readings that we have covered in class. You are free to choose any common reading from the term with the exception of the selection from Michel Foucault. Your paper should present an analytical response to the reading that offers an interpretation of the text and forwards your own argument about its merits. Your final paper must integrate no fewer than three secondary sources that discuss, complicate, or otherwise bear on the reading you have chosen. Your paper should be between ten and twelve pages in length (approximately 3000-3600 words), typed, and double-spaced.
