You are to research ONE successful entrepreneur that you admire and find interesting. You may choose from one of the following listed on Bb if you would like, or you can find your own entrepreneur to research. Please provide information on the lives, accomplishments, management, leadership, and traits of the chosen entrepreneur.

Length: A minimum of 3-5 pages, excluding references.

Resources: A minimum of at least 5-10 scholarly resources related to the field of entrepreneurship to support your paper that is referenced according to APA (6th ed.) guidelines. Get evidence. Find your references from sources such as books, online, lectures, library, journals, and readings (Wikipedia is not a valid source and cannot be used as a reference, only as a starting point). Link your evidence that you found back into the paper.

NOTE: If in-text citations are not used then I consider your paper plagiarized which will result in an automatic F! Any document found to be falsified, plagiarized, or otherwise academically fraudulent will result in the student earning an F for the course. There are no exceptions to this rule!

Writing: Writing is free of spelling and grammar errors that detract from the overall message. Fluidity: Make sure you have complete sentences and you have fluid concepts.

Conclusion, make sure to have a concluding statement, summarize your answers, and evidence.

Organization and clarity: Presents logical organized arguments, well supported by appropriate resources.

Questions/ Considerations:

a) Introduction –this is the attention getter.

b) Background info. –What they did before they became an entrepreneur, birth and death, education, family history, early accomplishments.

c) Give an explanation of the idea/business that this entrepreneur was involved with. What good or service did this entrepreneur start, where and when?

d) Describe how this entrepreneur was an agent of change. How did the world change because of this person? Why was it successful? What was produced? How was it produced? Who was it that produced it?

e.) Create a profile of this entrepreneur that includes at least 5 elements, which can include: characteristics, skills, motivations, abilities, attitudes, aptitudes, contributions, etc. of the entrepreneur (the things that helped them to be successful). Where they a risk taker, independent, confident, assertive, or ambitious?

f) Would you consider this entrepreneur ethical and incorporated social responsibility into their business?

g) Final thoughts or conclusion (this is the only place within the paper that I will allow the use of first person).
