Since your research topic has evolved relative to the feedback you have received in this course, the focus of this assignment is to now view your revised research topic through the mixed method paradigm. You will need to apply the characteristics of the mixed methods approach from the assigned readings to your research topic of interest. For this assignment, develop an abbreviated mixed methods research proposal that includes the following components:
1 Develop an introduction that presents the background of your topic using only in-text peer-reviewed resources.
2 Include a one-sentence statement of the research problem.
3 Include a one-sentence purpose of the research statement.
4 Develop one qualitative research question.
5 Create one quantitative research question with corresponding hypotheses (i.e., null and alternative).
6 Include a brief discussion of the qualitative data collection (i.e., qualitative methodology and corresponding design).and analysis procedures.
7 Include a brief discussion of the quantitative data collection (i.e., quantitative methodology and corresponding design).and analysis procedures.
8 Develop a statement regarding how the integration of the qualitative and quantitative methodologies and corresponding designs will enhance rigor and validity in the results.
Ensure alignment in wording and content among the statement of the problem, purpose of the research, research questions, and hypotheses.
