Using EVERYTHING you have learned in this Module, create your own survey. Imagine that you have been tasked with designing a questionnaire. SMLR has decided to survey undergraduate and graduate students on their ENGAGEMENT with their respective programs. The findings of this survey will be used primarily to eventually tweek or restructure the program academically and socially to increase the impact of the program on the ACADEMIC and PROFESSIONAL success of students who graduate from the HR program.

1. Create a Graphical Model, identifying Independent and Dependent Variables.
2. Define your variables in words and operationally (Hint: doing a bit of a Library Periodical search will be helpful here. Before beginning to design a survey measuring “Engagement”, you need to define it first.)
3. Create your survey (beginning on a separate page). It should ask as many demographic questions as you need to determine if there are differences based on sex, race, # of working hours, living conditions, domestic/international status, and/or other variables you believe might be meaningful. In addition, include 15-20 items that will help you to measure engagement. Be sure to follow all the helps in the PPTs, videos, and document (be careful with double-barreled questions, etc.). Your document should be no more than 2 pages (which would fit on 1 sheet of paper, front and back). You would be wise to take a look at the Gallup 12 (often referred to as the G-12) to get started. <– Be careful to NOT plagiarize.
