The population of focus used for this study was a catheterized patient picked randomly from the health care setting. It was ensured that the patient who was picked was under the indwelling bladder catheter inserted deep down the urinary drainage (Magers, 2013).The main reason why a patient with an indwelling bladder catheter was to make sure that the Patient was prone to catheter-associated urinary infections.

(I)   Intervention – special method for catheter removal

So as to reduce the instances of catheter-associated urinary infections coming up with new and better ways to handle the condition of the patient is the best way to deal with it. As for this case, the patient susceptible to catheter-associated urinary infection will be at undergoing through a special initiative program devised to ensure that the catheter is removed in a prompt manner (Campbell, 2015).

(C)  Comparison – compared to normal procedure

The new special initiative method is compared the normal routine procedure that is currently used to see whether there will be an effect on the rate of urinary tract infections.
