mastery of all of the core classes in your MBA program. To show mastery, you
would focus on the development and implementation of business strategies that
enable competitive advantage. A capstone report includes the following for the
selected company: (1) mission and objectives; (2) analysis and forecast of social,
technological, economic and political forces with attention to global aspects; (3)
industry and competitive analysis on a global and domestic basis; (4) financial and
stock analysis; and (5) identification and evaluation of alternative strategies.
In this class, the culmination of your MBA program at Brandman University, you will
meet the course learning outcomes of designing and creating a fully executable
business plan. This Business Plan should be of a quality that you would use in your
portfolio to either leverage a promotion for a better job at your current organization
or to gain access to a higher paying opportunity with more responsibility at another
organization. The business plan that you create should be of a quality that could be
shared with either Venture Capitalists or a bank for funding. It is a plus in each of
your papers to have citations from textbooks you have used in previous classes in
your MBA.
