Group presentations comprise of 20% of total marks divided equally (5%) into four presentations scheduled in Week 2, Week 4, Week 6, and Week 10. Same groups should work for the presentations and group assignment. Every group will work on a different company that will be decided in Week 1. Every group will need to present in Week 2, Week 4, Week 6, and Week 10. The presenters will be randomly selected.

For week 10 presentation, students will analyse the three recent annual reports of the company chosen for Week 2, Week 4 and Week 6 presentations and present on the following aspects of dividend policy:

• Discuss the dividend payments over the last three years

• Calculate the dividend payout and dividend yield

• Identify a dividend payout policy that the company follows

• Comment whether the dividend payment of the company is providing a signal to the market
• Evaluate the dividend policy of this company in terms of the industry practice
