Research on Supplements and Aerobic Training

This paper intends to analyze five supplements that I conducted a thorough research on to determine their ingredients composition and use. The supplement companies did not fund the study. In my research, I studied the following supplements (Preedy et al., 2013).

Multi-mineral Supplement is a formulation that comprise dietary ingredients such as vitamins and minerals. The supplement is in the form of powders; injectable formulations, capsules, tablets and pastilles (Preedy et al., 2013). Most minerals including chromium and zinc collaborate with anabolic hormones to enhance efficiency in performance.
2. Antioxidants supplements

Antioxidant encompasses nutrients which include minerals, flavonoids and vitamins. Many of these are extracted from vegetables and fruits. These components are not sufficiently found in typical diets, for instance, fat-loss diets. Common dietary antioxidants have formulations that include vitamins B- complex, E and C. The formulation also has (Preedy et al., 2013):

• Green tea extract
• Zinc
•  Manganese
• grape seed extract
• selenium

3. Omega-3 Fatty Acids

Omega is a food supplement made up of three fatty acids. Ingredients include Docosahexaenoic, Eicosapentaenoic and Docosapentaenoic acid. The supplement has numerous nutritional benefits. First, it prevents several cancerous diseases (Dasgupta & Klein, 2014). Secondly, they are vital components of heart tissues.
4. Creatine
