Gender Roles, Sexism and Portrayal of Women in Media

The research is about gender roles, sexism and portrayal of women in media (especially advertising and magazines) from start of the ww2 until the start of the sexual revolution (early/mid 60s) mainly is US. The research should consist of three parts: 1. 30s – 40s, before women were asked to take over men’s jobs. I am looking for answers to these questions and more in the essay:
