Google is a technology company that is on a global scale. Google specializes in internet services and products. There are over fifty thousand employees and Google has many subsidiaries such as SlickLogin, Bump and Boston Dynamics. Google has a very good reputation as it is known for treating the employees well along with being a very generous company with supporting organizations such as the International Mathematical Olympiad. Most people are very familiar with the Google brand name. Hiring The company is a huge business in regards to providing jobs. Each year, the company gets over two million, five hundred thousand applications. People want to work for Google because of the culture of success that it promotes. It is a company that looks out for their employees and cares about how they are viewed in the company. When looking to hire employees they look to hire people who look at solutions to problems. They want employees that are go-getters and look to make a situation better (Bulygo, 2014). With the intent of hiring the best workers the company does have the risk of having other companies try to recruit their employees. This is not a bad problem for a business to have and many business would want to be in that situation where other companies are trying to recruit their workers. Culture Google is a company that has created a good environment for their employees to work in. They offer incredible perks such as gyms, swimming pools, subsidized massages and free haircuts. Due to their treatment of employees, Google has had a very low turnover rate of employees leaving (Bulygo, 2014).
