For most adolescent girls to achieve ideal thinness, they begin to limit their food intake, which may lead to eating disorder.
Most of the girls suffering from low self-esteem are due to their dissatisfaction with their appearance. Instead of focusing on thinness, it is more crucial to educate youth about nutrition and healthy ways of keeping fit such as exercising and monitored food intake by adults.
