Diabetes Type 2 is a condition, not a disease, where blood sugar level is too high due to the ineffective functioning of insulin in the body. This is usually called “insulin resistance”. It is now approaching global epidemic status.

In this eBook, I discuss my personal experience of Diabetes Type 2, from illness, to diagnosis, to research and finally cure of my Diabetes Type 2. I point out the lack of information and sometimes misinformation, relating to this condition, from the medical and nutrition organizations and professions. I explain my own journey of discovery for a solution to this most serious condition.

Because we now live in an era of “sound bites and tweets” where people’s attention span is short, I have written this eBook in as brief and concise a way as possible in order to engage with a modern audience so that this important message which may improve so many lives reaches as many as possible.

I have never studied in the field of medicine. I am an engineer by profession and perhaps my solution-driven mindset has allowed me to approach the problem from a different perspective.

As an engineer I have the benefit of my training and experience in “Root Cause Analysis” to be able to analyse and assimilate the key information that resulted in establishing the “root cause” of my Diabetes Type 2.

I suffered from recurring fatigue and was diagnosed with Diabetes Type 2. I had to take my blood sugar readings every day. In practice, I did this once every week as the regime of daily blood taking was too excessive for me.

I reduced my intake of food with high sugar content, as recommended, but my blood sugar readings still indicated that I had Diabetes.

So I decided to do my own research and of course I surfed the internet to see if I could find a cure for my Diabetes Type 2, but it seemed that “cures” required me to restrict eating healthy foods, such as fresh fruit to reduce my sugar intake and required me to purchase supplements in many cases.

“There must be a better solution” I thought, so I went back to basics and started by researching how insulin actually works.

I now no longer have Diabetes Type 2 which was confirmed by my doctor and this is how I did it.
